Rain Lily Omyin

About this plant

A vibrant splash of colour, each bloom unfurls like a star-shaped beacon with six broad petals. The dominant shade is a cheerful pink, softened by a distinct creamy-white stripe that runs down the centre of each petal, radiating outwards from the golden-yellow throat. Fine veins in a slightly deeper pink criss-cross the petal surface, adding depth and texture. The prominent yellow anthers at the heart complete the bright display, catching the eye as they sway gently. This is a robust variety that responds enthusiastically to the monsoon rains, throwing multiple flushes of blooms and thriving equally well in garden beds or decorative pots on a sunny balcony.
