A burst of morning sunshine captured in bloom, this double-petalled variety opens with a cheerful disposition. Six broad outer petals in a vibrant lemon yellow are subtly brushed with a delicate apricot blush towards their tips and edges, creating a warm, inviting gradient. Nestled within, a second whorl of narrower, perfectly formed petals radiates outwards from the greenish-yellow throat, giving the flower a wonderfully full and layered appearance that holds its shape beautifully. Each petal is finely veined, adding to its luminous quality. This is a robust and reliable producer, throwing multiple flushes of blooms after a good monsoon shower, and looks particularly striking when potted alongside deep green foliage or darker-hued companions.
